How to apply

  1. 1Create or convert to a 1Password Teams account and become an owner
  2. 2Invite at least one other owner
  3. 3Open a GitHub application issue in 1Password/for-open-source

Important notes

  • Only 1Password Teams accounts are eligible. Personal, family, and business accounts are excluded.
  • The account must not be associated with commercial activity, except open-source funding such as GitHub Sponsors or Open Collective.
  • Single-project applicants must be a core contributor; the project must be at least 30 days old, active, and under a permissive open-source license.
  • This is not a general startup perk for a commercial company.
